The Lancaster Chamber’s Candidate Meet & Greet series provides Lancaster County’s business and broader community with an opportunity to connect directly with candidates seeking to represent them in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

As part of the Chamber’s commitment to engaging our business and broader community in the democratic and civic process, these nonpartisan events create an informal and accessible setting for conversation between candidates and attendees.

Each candidate in the participating races is extended the same invitation and opportunity to participate. Rather than a traditional candidate forum or debate, candidates have individual spaces where attendees can meet them one-on-one, ask questions, and learn more about their priorities and perspectives. There are no formal speeches, debates, or moderated Q&A.

This year’s Annual Strasburg Halloween Parade will be Thursday, October 29th, beginning at 7 p.m. This parade is organized and sponsored by the Strasburg Lions Club. The parade will begin at Strasburg Jaycee Park, 218B Miller Street, at 7 p.m. The parade will travel east on Miller and West Main Streets, through Center Square, and end at the East Main Street/Shenk Avenue intersection.
