Who is Dale Hamby?
Dale is a retired US Army Veteran, currently tending to his flock of sheep and alpacas while working to improve our community. His Quarryville farm has produced custom wood tools for spinners and knitters since 2016.
After a distinguished 15-year military career, Dale taught high school classes in Physics, Algebra, Computer Repair, robotics, and college courses in Economics and Finance for 11 years.
Among his other accomplishments, including founding several small businesses, Dale served as Executive Director of the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board and Special Assistant to the Secretary of the PA Dept of Education.
